It gives me immense joy and gratitude to share this message with all those associated with Chethana Integrated Development Society and its various initiatives.

Chethana was established with a vision to serve humanity with compassion, dignity and commitment, particularly reaching out to the poor, marginalized and vulnerable sections of society. Over the years, Chethana has grown into a meaningful instrument of social transformation, touching the lives of countless individuals and families through education, healthcare, livelihood promotion, women’s empowerment, environmental initiatives and social welfare programmes.

Our mission is not merely to provide assistance, but to empower people to discover their dignity, develop their abilities and build a sustainable and hopeful future. Every initiative of Chethana is inspired by the Gospel values of love, justice, compassion and solidarity.

I am particularly happy to see the continued growth of initiatives that promote self-reliance, sustainable development and care for our common home. Through the dedicated service of our staff, volunteers, well-wishers and partners, Chethana strives to create opportunities for people to move from dependence to empowerment and from vulnerability to hope.
